ABOUT CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATION

Autonomy was conferred on Bishop Ambrose College in 2024, marks a significant achievement. This status provides the institution with the flexibility to design its curriculum and conduct exams, further enhancing the educational experience. The Examination Cell, formed in July 2024, has played a crucial role in managing exams and coordinating evaluation processes across various programs. By working closely with the respective departments, the Examination Cell ensures smooth operations. The College offers a wide range of academic courses, keeping pace with industry demands and the latest developments. This commitment ensures that students receive a comprehensive and up-to-date education.

Rules and Regulations

ATTENDANCE RULES

  • Regularity in attendance is obligatory.
  • Candidates shall have 75% of minimum attendance per Semester to take the Semester Examination.
  • Candidates who have less than 75% of attendance, but above 65% shall pay ₹ 600 /- as per University rule, towards condonation fee.
  • Those students who have less than 65% of attendance will have to repeat the Semester after completing the course.
  • Students involved in Extra-curricular Activities shall contact the respective authorities who will seek the prior permission from the Principal.

THE FOLLOWING RULES ARE APPLICABLE TO ALL TESTS AND EXAMINATIONS

  • Students are to be in their seats before the second bell. During the distribution of question papers, no one should enter the hall or room. No one can enter the hall 30 minutes after the commencement of test or examination. No student can receive the question paper before taking her assigned seat in the hall or room.
  • No student will be allowed to enter the Examination Hall, half an hour after the commencement of the examination.
  • Students are prohibited from bringing / carrying into the Examination Hall any book or portion of a book, manuscript or any matter of any description. Any communication with another is subject to severe punishment.
  • No paper other than the question paper should be taken out of the Examination Hall.
  • Students, indulging in malpractice, will be dealt with as per the directives of the State Government and Bharathiyar University.
  • Every student is advised to keep the ID card and Present it for appearing in Regular & Supplementary Examination. ID card will also be required as reference for all enquiries.
